Sustainably manages the factors of production it uses (soil, water, energy, livestock and plant capital), promotes biodiversity and improves the soil. Some of its practices concern soil management and fertilization, pest, disease and weed management, conversion, propagating material, storage and GMO prohibition.
Animal Production
It mainly concerns the livestock of sheep, goats, poultry and bees. The factors that determine it are the origin of the animals, the conversion, the diet, the veterinary education, the breeding, the wastewater management and the enclosure.
Processing-standardization- disposal-import from third countries
Plant and animal products produced from the holding of organic farming and animal husbandry can be used for further processing. Thus, they can be prepared as organic products, such as olive oil, wine, honey, jams, etc.
